Last week-end, Haile Gebrselassie did it again. Last year, when he ran the Berlin Marathon, he broke the world record. Twelve months letter, he managed to win Berlin another time (for the third time in a row) and became the first man in history to break the 2:04 limit.

Records aren’t normally my cup of tea. But Gebrselassie is such a great human being that I wanted to celebrate this race with him.

Two years ago, Dean Karnazes, aka the ultramarathon man complete an incredible challenge : running 50 marathons in 50 different states in 50 consecutive days.

A movie had been shot during the whole challenge. It will be released on July 31st.

I used to follow his progress on the blog Dean set up for the occasion. So I can’t wait to see the film. Unfortunatly, there is no date yet for a release outside the US.

You may have dreamed of it, Suni Williams will do it on monday 16th. What am I talking about ?
Suni Williams will be the first astronaut to participate officially to the Boston Marathon. The best part of it is that she will actually run the Marathon while in the International Space Station !!
It must be the first marathon run 210 miles away from the ground.
