Happy new year

We wish everyone a great, an injury free, a new 2007. We hope to see you back in January to help you figure out what marathon you’ll run next spring. There are plenty of exciting races still available for registration. Do not be afraid to enter smaller marathons. Do not be afraid to enter a race in a foreign country.

If you want to run, then run a mile. If you want to experience another life, run a marathon.

Keep on running and train well..

5 closest marathons and more

On each marathon page, you can now easily locate the five marathons that are closest.

Either on the map,

or in the “Closest marathons” section.

Say you couldn’t register for the “Marathon du Médoc” in France, but still want to run a marathon around Bordeaux. You can know immediately spot the marathons eligible.

Just one more thing…

We also added an “external link” section on the marathon page. We mainly use it to link to wikipedia pages on the marathon itself or on city where it takes place.
But we’re also happy to include other types of links. For example, a blogger from Singapore sent us a link to his own map of the Singapore Marathon race.
So if you have any piece of information that is relevant and want us to include it, just drop us an e-mail at info@42k195.com.
